Ashraf Chowdhury ACCA

Ashraf Chowdhury, ACCA, is one of our most accomplished Senior Consultants, with a distinguished career spanning over 10 years in accountancy and audit, financial reporting under IAS and IFRS, SOX compliance, UK VAT, Corporation Tax, personal tax, and payroll. He brings a wealth of experience from his three-year tenure at KPMG, where he excelled in statutory and internal audits and developed strong expertise in valuations, presentation skills, and analytical and communication abilities within corporate finance.

Ashraf also served as Finance Manager at ASA International, a London Stock Exchange-listed company, in their Dhaka office. In this role, he collaborated closely with CFOs across 14 countries, contributing critical insights on international transfer pricing. Following this, he took on the role of Senior Financial Specialist in Reporting and Tax at Uber Bangladesh’s head office in Dhaka, where he played a pivotal role in liaising with the National Board of Revenue and Deputy Commissioners of Taxes, providing direct reports to top management, and working on global projects.

In addition to his corporate roles, Ashraf is dedicated to the educational sector as a founding faculty member at Edbase Professional, an ACCA Gold-Level Approved Learning Partner. He teaches Strategic Business Reporting and Advanced Financial Management, with several of his students achieving national high distinctions.
